I don't see necros and WDs facetanking anything at high tiers.
you are not going to die at any point and you can facetank as much as you need to. If toughness is an issue then there is a problem with the build.Īnd by immortal I don't mean it's impossible to die - if you make mistakes you CAN die with any class, always. And each following GR requires a ton more dps, but not as much tougness, so wizard will remain tanky until as high as you push, it will just lack the dps to move on. With archon I just need to build stacks before being able to do the same, although archon playstyle involves a lot of teleporting and movement so it's even easier to survive like that and move out of danger. Actually, with LoD i don't have to move, I can sit in the middle of any pack and channel without dying. My Lod hydra is immortal in gr126 as well - same issue with dps though. My archon is immortal in GR126 - I just lack the dps to kill fast enough :) Who wants to run Diablo 3 on PS4, level 49 Barbarian just copped the game a week ago. Put those along with an ancient item in the cube to augment the item.
The fact that wizard is the worst class this season means it can push a few tiers lower than some other classes, but doesn't change the fact archon and lod hydra are extremely tanky builds compared to the other int classes and their meta builds. You need 1 legendary gem and 3 flawless royal gems for augments.
